Once Pixave have converted your videos for you, you will be able upload them to YouTube, Viemo, Facebook, google+ and any other site that allows you to share your photographs with your friends.
Your DVD will not be copy protected, so you can use freely available commercial software to convert your DVD into a format compatible with social media sites, or you choose to have a digital copy of your home movie created that you can edit and extract parts to upload.
Just as in real life, you will also be able to create albums on your social network, e.g. you could create specific folders for events like holidays, birthdays etc, and then you can invite your friends and family to view your online album. It will be a lot easier to share your videos this way then organising a big night in with everyone huddled around the TV !
